Let's see what all did i get for Christmas let me try and remember. From Andy i got Wicked tickets!!!! That was a surprise, i did drop a few hints that it was leaving and i would like to see it, but then kinda forgot about it until i opened my gift. The box had a theme it was, "here are things that make you happy even though i do not like them" It was the Wicked tickets and the soundtrack to Twilight. He also got me a bunch of other cds. Andy and I got a nice foot stool from my parents, and Andy's parents got us a small deep freeze.  We got the first season of Mad Men which is very good, and i got green striped gloves that are awesome. Oh i got the last two books of the Twilight series, and a bunch of other wonderful things i can't remember right now. Oh my mom's mom made me an afghan

I got Andy themed presents too, there was a kitchen themed present with a toaster cover made of fabric with rocket ships on it, flame stickers for his mixer, and a large deep sauce pan. There was a tea themed present with a bunch of different types of teas and a teapot and various strainers. And then a Painting themed present cause he said he wanted to try painting a picture.

Andy and I started the new year with a funeral. On new year's day we attended his uncle's wake. He died in a car accident at 2 in the morning on the 29th. I guess he lost control of his car on the ice and rolled it. Today was the funeral, Andy was a pallbearer.

The cats, they are lucky that they are cute. They both have urinary tract infections. Earlier this week the house reeked of cat pee, its getting better, the basement still has an odor though.

Where is it?!

One of the cats, (i'm guessing Clementine cause Valentine doesn't do that) peed all over everything i had on a chair in the living room. 2 blankets, one of my bags and the chair itself. I washed everything, but as i sit here i still get waves of cat pee every once and a while. I smelled the couch and everything around the couch and have not found where it is coming from, if it is coming from anywhere to begin with, i don't think i'm imagining it. Silly me i took away Clementine's separate litter box cause i was tired of cleaning up litter all over the kitchen and noticed her using Valentine's litter box, apparently she did not like that. I'm glad i don't own anything here that is really expensive, most of the stuff has been given too us by friends and family. So i have I have two designated cat chairs. Seriously where is that smell coming from?! oh, now Andy smells it to, my nose is going to get tired from running around smelling everything, trying to find where it is coming from. bah.

Who ever said buying/looking for a new house was fun needs to be kicked.....a lot. I hate it. We've been looking for a house since April this year. We have made an offer on one, but the buyer's come back on the offer was only $100 less on the price, so they did not want to bargain and we really were just settling on the house anyway. We found another house that was a foreclosure, in need of lots of repair about $7,000 worth, (including new appliances) we were going to make an offer on this one but there was already 2 offers in and they took one of them, if we had been able to get the offer in we probably would have had the house. It sucked cause that weekend we didn't see the house sooner because the relator's dad that we work with died and she had to go to the funeral and such.  We just saw 3 houses yesterday, the first one was covered in cat pee, horrible! The second one we really like, and the third still had people in it when we were looking at the house. It was so sad because it was another foreclosure and i felt like i was trying to steal the house away from the people that were still there they all looked so sad.  so that's all i could think about.  The house that we really like Andy noticed an area in the backyard by the concrete deck that was soggy. The whole rest of the yard was dry. This area was about 3 foot in diameter and the grass there was greener than the rest of the grass in the yard. We probably would have made an offer on it yesterday if it did not have this soggy area in the yard. Now we are trying to figure out what that area is and if we should make an offer, considering we just found out that there are 2 offers already on the house, which sucks cause that means that we would probably get for the ideal offer we have in mind where we do not have to pay pmi. I hate this whole unknown wanting a house needing a house thing. It's dumb in the face. Andy keeps saying 1 house please. ::holds up 1 finger::

I'm happy its summer i've been trying to pick up a hobby. On friday i just made my first mosaic thingy, it was a kit with a plate making a garden stone, it was way to structured for me and i could remember what the plate originally looked like so i was trying to put it together like a puzzle and it was only working out so/so. I have a pile of plates and a few wooden crosses to make stuff out of next. I'm excited.

Oh and i'll post some pictures later of swing dancing last night with [info]mrbobafett and [info]nothinfinah and Erin too. It was a lot of fun!!
